Hi, I'm Eric! I use he/him pronouns.

 

I am a composer and sound designer for theatre, film, and streaming media. My award-winning original music and sound designs for theatre have been heard Off-Broadway, and at regional theaters including Goodman Theatre, Milwaukee Rep., Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, South Coast Rep., Northern Stage, Steppenwolf, Writers Theatre, Barrington Stage, TheatreSquared, Paramount, Northlight, and many others. My portfolio also includes sound art, immersive experiences, and concert works. I compose in almost every genre, but take a particular interest in creating unique and modern music influenced by jazz, pop, and Western-orchestral pieces.

 

As an educator, I have mentored high school and college students at University of California Irvine, Northwestern University, Columbia College Chicago, Arizona State University, New Trier High School, Walter Payton High School, and Trollwood Performing Arts School.

 

I am a proud member of USA829 (United Scenic Artists) and ASCAP (American Society of Composer, Authors, and Publishers). Based in Southern California and Chicago, I also work regionally and remotely. I am able to provide my own accommodations in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Seattle, Phoenix, and Austin.
